NextOp to Celebrate Louisiana Expansion with Workshop Feb. 1

nextop veteransNextOp Veterans is excited to announce that they have expanded to New Orleans after partnering with NOLABA. To celebrate the development, NextOp will host a Veteran Transition Workshop and a Louisiana Launch Party on Feb. 1.

NextOp has partnered with the New Orleans Business Alliance (NOLABA) and Greater New Orleans, Inc., as both want to increase veteran recruitment and retention in the industries and companies they represent as economic development organizations in the Southeast Louisiana region.

“We are very excited about working with NOLABA and GNO, Inc., to help our team pipeline more military talent into Louisiana’s top industries. Their partnership is critical in launching our programs in the region and together we hope to show great returns for the community. Our partnership with Bastion is also critical because it enables our Louisiana Regional Manager to co-locate with their staff and serve veterans coming through the innovative programs being provided,” said NextOp Executive Director John Boerstler.

“The expansion of NextOp to Louisiana is extremely significant for two distinct reasons. First, NextOp will be the only organization in Louisiana that focuses on recruiting and successfully placing veterans and military members in rewarding careers. This will immediately have an impact on our State’s veteran and military members by providing them with opportunities and services that were not previously available in Louisiana. Second, companies and organizations in Louisiana want to hire this type of talent, but they currently do not have a strong partner to assist them. NextOp hopes to be that partner by helping them find and hire the right veteran and military talent to fit their needs,” said Louisiana Regional Manager Ben Armstrong.

NextOp Louisiana Launch

Following the first Veteran Transition Workshop in New Orleans on Feb. 1 from 9:30 to 5 p.m., NextOp will host its Louisiana Launch Party. Veterans, Corporate Partners, Co-Hosts and supporters are invited for complementary refreshments and to celebrate this new endeavor. This is a great opportunity to meet other veterans, industry professionals seeking military talent, and to connect with organizations assisting with other service members’ post-military transition.
