Iden­ti­fy­ing indus­tries to tar­get for max­i­mum impact in New Orleans

NOLABA has been tasked with lead­ing the devel­op­ment of a 5-year strate­gic plan tar­get­ing 5 key indus­tries in New Orleans in con­sul­ta­tion with New Orleans pub­lic and pri­vate sec­tor stakeholders.

The Strate­gic Plan is the first com­pre­hen­sive eco­nomic devel­op­ment strat­egy for the City of New Orleans. The Strate­gic Plan is expected to be com­plete in sum­mer of 2013. For more infor­ma­tion about the Strate­gic Plan, visit www.nolaeconomy.com

The New Orleans Busi­ness Alliance uses a cluster-based strat­egy to inform our eco­nomic devel­op­ment efforts and the Strate­gic Plan. Sim­ply put, we actively pur­sue indus­tries where we have dis­tinct com­pet­i­tive advan­tages and where a clus­ter of com­pa­nies has formed.
